NNIO Malaysia Warranty Terms & Conditions

NNIO Malaysia, operated by [E-risen Distribution Hub Sdn Bhd], provides a limited warranty to the original retail purchaser of NNIO products against defects in materials, design, and workmanship under normal household and non-commercial use, subject to the terms and conditions stated below.

1. Warranty Period

The warranty period begins from the original date of purchase and shall be valid for the duration specified for the respective product.

A valid proof of purchase, such as an official receipt, invoice, or order confirmation from NNIO Malaysia or an authorised NNIO dealer, must be presented for all warranty claims.

The warranty applies only to NNIO products purchased through NNIO Malaysia or its authorised dealers and sales channels in Malaysia and, where applicable, products bearing the relevant SIRIM certification label.

The warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and is not transferable.

2. Warranty Service

This warranty does not include on-site service unless otherwise expressly stated.

Products requiring inspection, servicing, repair, or replacement must be delivered or brought to the designated NNIO Malaysia Service Centre or authorised service location.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all costs associated with delivering or transporting the product to and from the service location shall be borne by the customer.

NNIO Malaysia reserves the right to inspect, diagnose, and test any product submitted for a warranty claim to determine the nature of the defect and whether the claim falls within the warranty coverage.

3. Repair or Replacement

For a valid warranty claim, NNIO Malaysia may, at its discretion and subject to applicable Malaysian law:

• Repair the defective product or component;
• Replace the defective component;
• Replace the product with the same or an equivalent model; or
• Where the original model is no longer available, provide a product of comparable specifications and functionality.

Replacement products or components may be new or refurbished where appropriate.

Any defective product or component replaced under warranty may become the property of NNIO Malaysia.

Any repair or replacement provided under warranty does not restart or extend the original warranty period unless otherwise required by applicable law or expressly stated by NNIO Malaysia.

4. Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does not cover damage, defects, or failure resulting from, including but not limited to:

1. Normal Wear and Tear
   Normal deterioration resulting from regular use, including cosmetic wear, scratches, dents, discolouration, stains, rust, corrosion, or deterioration of exterior finishes.
2. Misuse or Accidental Damage
   Damage caused by misuse, abuse, mishandling, negligence, improper storage, dropping, impact, accident, fire, flood, lightning, power surge, or other external causes.
3. Foreign Matter or Liquid Damage
   Damage caused by the ingress of water, liquid, dust, insects, foreign objects, or other substances into the product.
4. Improper Installation or Electrical Supply
   Damage resulting from improper installation, assembly, connection, use of an incorrect electrical supply, voltage, power source, adapter, or other incompatible equipment.
5. Unauthorised Repair or Modification
   Damage resulting from repair, modification, alteration, dismantling, or servicing performed by any person or service provider not authorised by NNIO Malaysia.
6. Cleaning and Maintenance
   Routine cleaning, maintenance, reconditioning, lubrication, descaling, or other services considered part of normal product maintenance.
7. Transportation and Installation Costs
   Transportation, delivery, installation, removal, dismantling, reinstallation, or other related costs that are not part of the standard warranty repair service.
8. Identification Removed or Altered
   Products where the model number, serial number, rating label, SIRIM label (where applicable), or other product identification has been removed, altered, damaged, or made illegible.
9. Consumable and Wearable Parts
   Consumable or replaceable parts that naturally deteriorate through normal use unless the failure is determined to be caused by a manufacturing defect.
10. Commercial or Non-Household Use
    Products used for commercial, rental, industrial, professional, or other non-household purposes unless the product is specifically approved or sold for such use.

5. Consumable Parts

Consumable parts are generally not covered under the standard product warranty unless otherwise specified or where the defect is determined to be due to a manufacturing fault.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable Malaysian law, NNIO Malaysia shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from the use, inability to use, or failure of the product.

Nothing in these Warranty Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude, restrict, or modify any rights or remedies available to consumers under applicable Malaysian laws that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or modified.

7. Warranty Assessment

All warranty claims are subject to inspection and verification by NNIO Malaysia or its authorised service representatives.

NNIO Malaysia reserves the right to reject a warranty claim where the product does not meet the warranty requirements stated above or where the defect is determined to have resulted from circumstances excluded from warranty coverage.
